Philosophy & Cyclical Living
At the heart of my work is a deep commitment to wellbeing, inclusivity, and connection — to ourselves, to one another, and to the natural world. I believe movement is a powerful and gentle way to support healing, awareness, and balance, especially when practised in rhythm with the cycles of nature.
Guided by the principles of cyclical living, my offerings ebb and flow with the seasons, inviting moments of rest, expression, grounding, and expansion. Whether you arrive seeking calm, curiosity, or reconnection, each space is held with care, intention, and respect for the land that supports us.
Movement Background (Yoga & Dance)
I am a yoga and Indigenous dance teacher, and my work is shaped by both lived experience and formal training. I began my yoga journey in 2015 travelling across America and completed my Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in 2019, with a focus on making yoga accessible and supportive for all. Over the years, I have also trained in trauma-informed yoga and emotional resilience, deepening my understanding of how movement can support nervous system regulation and wellbeing.
Alongside yoga, Pacific Island dance is a central part of my life and heritage. I have been dancing since the age of three, growing up on islands where my connection to the sea, land, and cultural rhythm was nurtured through family — following in the footsteps of my grandfather and mother, both dancers. I danced professionally into my mid-twenties, travelling and sharing stories of culture, identity, and climate awareness, before settling into family life. I have also have the pleasure of sharing dance workshops at Shambala Festival sharing the joy of embodied movement.
Yoga and dance come together in my work as a balance of grounding and expression — a practice rooted in mindfulness, cultural respect, and embodied storytelling.
Community, Land & Care
My work extends beyond the studio and into the wider community. I have collaborated with schools and organisations across Torbay, supporting stress relief, emotional wellbeing, and resilience through movement. As a Geopark Associate Partner, I am committed to raising awareness of Torbay’s geological heritage and the wellbeing benefits of engaging with nature in one of Earth’s extraordinary places.
This connection to land is central to my offerings and has been recognised more widely through being featured on BBC’s Escape to the Country, where I shared my outdoor yoga practice held beside the sea within Torbay’s UNESCO Geopark. Offering movement in nature — with the sound of the waves and the open horizon — is a meaningful extension of my work and values.
All classes and experiences are offered as inclusive, supportive spaces. No prior experience is needed. Modifications are always available, and you are encouraged to move in a way that feels safe, respectful, and true to you — regardless of age, ability, or background.
My intention is to create spaces where people feel welcomed, supported, and free to explore movement in their own way — guided by joy, gratitude, and connection.
If you feel drawn to move with the seasons, reconnect with land and culture, or simply take a moment to pause and breathe, you are warmly invited.
Come as you are.
Move at your own pace.
Be held in community.
If you feel drawn to move in rhythm with the seasons, I would love to welcome you.
